Offered as either a successful Bed & Breakfast (operating as Joshua Inn for five years) or as a historical home, this Queen Anne Victorian beauty is a step into the past to an era of grandeur and elegance.

Built in 1905 by Judson Gerald  (J.G.) Hamilton, the sumptuous detailing and workmanship is unmatched today. Mr. Hamilton owned a harness store and was a saddle maker. You can see the carving reminiscent of that craft in the newel posts of the stairs and the Victorian rose molding trim of the doors. Artful remodeling has brought in the modern conveniences you expect for your modern lifestyle.  The entire house is framed in redwood.  William Henry Weeks, a noted California architect who designed hundreds of structures throughout California, designed this home.

This home originally had 5 bedrooms and 2 baths. Renovation has included updating most of the electrical and plumbing, new windows, restoring the roof, insulating the entire house, the addition of a fireplace insert, finishing the basement, extensively landscaping the grounds, creating a parking lot and adding one full and two half baths.

Each artist-designed room has its own story to tell.  The French Quarter room is reminiscent of New Orleans with queen bed and a charming bath with walk-in shower and rain shower head.

The Pennsylvannia Station room evokes the feeling of a train station with delightful detailing, and has a full bath attached.

The Kuschel Room is a large suite with dressing room and bathroom.

The Captain's Quarters is painted in rich tones of plum and gold, and offers a half-bath.

The Savannah Beach is decorated in ethereal greens, blues and aquas, evoking a nostalgic trip to the seashore.  It has a wrought iton queen bed and a water closet with a pull chain toilet.

Beautiful grounds, patios, a gazebo and spacious porches offer an opportunity to enjoy the near-perfect Central Coast weather year-round. There is an exterior fireplace and a toilet room.

Located in Historic Downtown Hollister, the gateway to Pinnacles National Park, the San Benito wine trail, and Hollister Hills State Vehicular Recreational Area, this bed and breakfast is popular among hikers, bikers and couples looking for a romantic sojourn.

Joshua Inn Bed & Breakfast Owners, Greg and Tricia Harvey, opened the Inn after 25 plus years of B & B travel and research. “This has been a common dream for both of us for as long as we can remember. We would spend extra time with the different innkeepers throughout our travels and learn as much as we could from them, gleaning from their expertise and experience.”  No detail has been left to chance.

All furnishings could be included with the right offer. Every item in the Inn was chosen for its beauty, its utility, and its addition to the aura of creature comfort that exudes from every corner.  The wonderful reviews they get on Yelp and the travel sites are a testamant to this.
